The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Financial Technology (FINTECH) is designed to reposition the managers of financial and related institutions in the contemporary world. It offers the skillset needed in the ever changing and evolving banking, finance and allied sectors.
Objectives
The EMBA programme in FINTECH seeks to:
- Understand the global Fintech landscape and describe the role of banks and financial service providers in shaping and responding to innovation and disruption.
- Promote an understanding of the forces behind technological changes in the industry and the system-wide implication of financial technology on the payment system.
- Emphasise the link between behavioural finance theories and technological advances in the banking and finance service industry.
Scope
The EMBA programme in FINTECH cuts across various areas in digital finance and electronic payment systems, emerging technologies in the banking and finance service industry, and the disruptive technologies shaping the industry. Students will complete relevant courses in related areas in addition to project report in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the EMBA programme in FINTECH shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the EMBA programme in FINTECH shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Executive MBA programme in FINTECH shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.

The EMBA programme in FINTECH prepares students for executive positions in the banking and finance industry. Digital finance and electronic payment service platform providers will also be interested in graduates of the programme.
