Programme Info
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Enterprise Resource Planning as a programme has been developed to equip the student with a broad knowledge of business in order to gain a competitive edge over others with the use of softwares to enhance business processes and practices. To this end, emphasis is placed upon professional education of the entire individual and in providing him/her with effective strategies to boost performance in his/her career.
Objectives
The EMBA programme in Enterprise Resource Planning seeks to:
- Prepare candidates who will be proficient in the configuration, use, and strategic application of ERP software across a wide range of business functions
- Teach students the ins and outs of the ERP software by SAP, one of the top vendors in the market place.
- Prepare candidates to carry out their duties and responsibilities in government and industrial establishments, business undertakings, statutory corporations and parastatals with the aid of Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Help students acquire leadership skills, human relations, analytical, evaluative, qualitative and communicative skills needed for the management of organisations and proper stewardship.
Scope
The EMBA programme in Enterprise Resource Planning cuts across various areas in business and industry. Students will complete relevant courses in business related areas and Enterprise Resource Planning modules in addition to project work in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the EMBA programme in Enterprise Resource Planning shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the EMBA programme in Enterprise Resource Planning shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Executive MBA programme in Enterprise Resource Planning shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.
