Programme Info
The Executive Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EMEI) programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills relevant for building a substantial entrepreneurial and innovative capacity to start, grow and manage new and existing businesses across the entrepreneurial life cycle.
Objectives
The EMBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation seeks to:
- Develop students’ knowledge in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation
- Promote discipline of managing processes in innovation
- Emphasise foundational concepts, practical tools and techniques necessary for designing, developing and managing innovation, etc.
Scope
The EMBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation cuts across various areas in human resources, finance, marketing, and information technology and is intended for a wide range of industry, service sector, or non-profit careers. Students will complete relevant courses in related areas in addition to project report in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the EMBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the EMBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Executive MBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.
