Programme Info
The Master of Business Leadership (M.BL) programme is designed to equip students with the requirements for business leadership in the twenty-first century. Tools and techniques to enhance strategic thinking and decision making are the emphasis in this programme.
Objectives
The Master of Business Leadership programme seeks to:
- Expose students to specialised knowledge in system thinking for leaders.
- Enhance students’ ability to successfully lead a modern day business organisation
- Provide students with contemporary tools for critical thinking and innovation.
Scope
The Master of Business Leadership programme cuts across various areas in business and industry. Students will complete relevant courses in financial sector-related areas in addition to project work in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the Master of Business Leadership programme shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the Master of Business Leadership programme shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Master of Business Leadership programme shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.

The Master of Business Leadership programme will equip students with the knowledge and skills to successfully lead their organisations to achieve identified goals. The programme trains them to occupy positions of responsibility in business and industry, as well as engage in consultancy.
