Master of Economic Policy Management (M.EPM)
Programme Info
The Masters in Economic Policy Management (M.EPM) programme provides students with the concepts and tools for initiating, analysing and implementing economic policies for the benefit of organisations and society. It requires special understanding of the workings of the private and public sectors of the economy.
Objectives
The Master of Economic Policy Management programme seeks to:
- Develop highly competent and versatile practitioners through the provision of relevant academic and professional training.
- Promote independent thinking for the advancement of policies for sustainable development.
- Emphasise the application of appropriate qualitative and quantitative knowledge in decision making.
Scope
The Master of Economic Policy Management cuts across various areas in the private and public sectors of an economy. Students will complete relevant courses in related areas in addition to project report in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the Master of Economic Policy Management shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the Master of Economic Policy Management programme shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Master of Economic Policy Management programme shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.
