Programme Info
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programmes are unique transformational programmes that will challenge students to seek answers to complex business issues. The programmes are designed specifically for senior executives, and provide specialised and comprehensive training, both in theory and practice.
Objectives
The EMBA programmes seek to:
- Develop the essential cross-functional perspective that prepares students to lead with vision, build focused strategies, strengthen organisational structures and processes, as well as make the tough decisions that drive performance and sustainability.
- Promote and broaden cross-functional expertise and lead organisational change with greater confidence by management of information through people for global impact and a sense of personal achievement.
- Emphasise specialisation in all types of administrative procedures.
Scope
The EMBA programmes cut across various areas in administrative management theories, policies and roles. Students will complete relevant courses in business related areas in addition to project report in their areas of interest.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for the EMBA programmes shall have the following:
- Minimum of one year working experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
Admission is twice in a year: April and October.
Mode of Study
The mode of study for the EMBA programmes shall be by course work, organisational case studies, annual attendance of the School’s international conference, and case project report.
Duration
The duration for the Executive MBA programmes shall be four (4) semesters. This is a weekend programme comprising one (1) contact per month over a 5 month period for each semester.
Employment Opportunities
The EMBA programmes prepare students to improve professionalism in business practices and entrepreneurship development. Students will be equipped to resolve conflicts, motivate employees for optimal performance, communicate in global cross cultural contexts, manage diversities and promote inclusiveness, as well as facilities management.
The fee is ₦210, 000 per semester for 4 semesters – 2 years.
